Alma is a Korean American lawyer and surfer seeking to inspire others to take action to end the climate crisis and reverse global warming.
Alma’s climate work began with Sustaining All Life and United to End Racism (also known as SAL/UER). Leading up to the 2018 Global Climate Action Summit in San Francisco, Alma and others co-founded a climate justice arm of APIENC (Asian and Pacific Islander Equality of Northern California), now called the Ecological Justice League. In January 2018, Alma also co-founded a monthly BIPOC (Black, Indigenous and other People of Color) climate solutions group. Since 2020, Alma has been serving as Climate Justice Co-Chair of the Climate Reality Project Bay Area Chapter.

in October 2020, she started the first Climate Hope project: 100 Days of Dancing. The second Climate Hope project: 100 Stories of Joy launched in December 2021. As of May 2022, ClimateHope.Us is a registered Non-Profit with 501c(3) status.

Pia Cortez is a storyteller at heart, whose life is centered around the ocean. She is a certified Molchanovs freediver, a licensed PADI scuba diver and lifelong conservationist. Her work revolves around creating stories and campaigns around ocean conservancy, and she lives between the Bay Area and Bohol, Philippines.

Roke (aka Krishnakali) Chaudhuri, originally from Bengal, India, is a life coach, spiritual guide, and community organizer. She bridges the best of the East and West to hold space and or good things to happen. When in India she leads transformative retreats for women from around the globe. Roke loves poetry, paints without any reason, and delights in beauty & magic.

Chuck Armoreda is based in the Philippines. He works as a support engineer and a certified freediver. His connection with the ocean and nature help him stay grounded and feel nourished. Chuck loves underwater photography and is a backpacker who loves traveling. After a typhoon hits Bohol, he and Pia build a non-profit organization that provides hot meals to affected families. And he also supports other local non-profit organizations who have a goal to educate locals on how to protect our nature and marine life.
