No Killin’ It, Girl: Dancing for Climate Justice

Updated: a few seconds ago

What if all our love songs were about loving the Earth?

No killin’ it, girl

Don’t be killin’ our world

Ten out of ten

Stop killin’ our world

Baddest for our lives

Are we killin’ our world?

In 2021, when BTS spoke at the United Nations, on behalf of thousands of young people from across the world, J-Hope said,

“I shudder to think about mourning for the Earth.  Everyone agrees that climate change is important, but the solutions are not easy.”

V then added:

“I hope we just don’t consider the future as grim darkness… There are still many pages left in the story about us.”

At ClimateHope.us, we believe in remixing the message.

Not just killin’ it—but healing our world.

Not just hoping—but acting,

Finding inspiration,

Connecting with our joy and love—

For dance, for corgis, and for each other.

Each of us, in our own way, to build a sustainable planet—

For ourselves, and for the generations that follow.

Just like BTS—J-Hope, V, RM, Jimin, Jungkook, Suga, and Jin—reminded us from the UN podium and from a music video filmed at the U.N. General Assembly:

The future isn’t written yet. But we are the authors of what comes next.
