COP30

ClimateHope.us joins COP30 virtually from the San Francisco, Bohol, Seoul and beyond,  amplifying frontline voices, youth movements and creative climate action around the world.

COP30: From Climate Grief to Climate Hope

This year, the world gathers in Belém do Pará, Brazil — the gateway to the Amazon — for the 30th United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP30).

While we won’t be on the ground in Brazil, ClimateHope.us is joining virtually, connecting from our islands, cities, and communities across the globe. From Bohol to the Bay Area, we’re tuning in, sharing stories, and bridging voices between the Amazon and the archipelago.

Because climate action isn’t limited by geography — it’s woven through relationships, creativity, and care.

What Is COP30?

The Conference of the Parties (COP) is the annual global summit where countries, activists, and communities negotiate how we move forward together on climate action.

At COP30, the focus is on turning promises into practice from phasing out fossil fuels to funding adaptation and protecting the world’s most vulnerable ecosystems.

Through our digital coverage and creative collaborations, ClimateHope.us will spotlight the people behind the policies — Indigenous leaders, youth organizers and artists transforming grief into hope.

Climate Justice
at the Center

We’re following movements that center climate justice, reminding the world that real solutions must uplift people and planet alike.

4 Key Focus Areas:
  • Loss & Damage Reparations — real financial justice for those facing the worst climate impacts.
  • Indigenous Sovereignty — protecting the Amazon means centering its stewards.
  • Youth & Gender Equity — amplifying next-generation climate leaders.
  • Regenerative Economies — shifting from extraction to care and renewal.

Boogie’s Window to Belém

Boogie, our resident corgi and climate companion, is joining COP30 too, one pawprint at a time.

Through Corgi 4 Climate Justice, we’ll share short videos, art collaborations and reflections from our global ClimateHope community, all tuning in virtually.

Because sometimes, the most powerful change begins with small steps, wagging tails and shared stories online.
