From the Stage to the Streets: Dancing for Climate Justice with J-Hope, Alma & a Climate Corgi

Updated: Apr 22

What if our favorite love songs were also love letters to the planet?

That’s the question we’ve been spinning (and dancing) on ever since J-Hope dropped Mona Lisa — a colorful, confident, rhythm-soaked masterpiece that had us swooning and scheming. Because what better way to spread a message of climate hope than through the art and energy of the people who move us?

J-Hope's Mona Lisa: Turning Pop to Purpose

Before Mona Lisa became the soundtrack stuck in our heads, J-Hope was already speaking to our hearts not just with beats, but with boldness.

In 2021, he stood at the United Nations, representing BTS and youth around the world, and called attention to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) — a global call to action for people, planet, peace, and partnership. It wasn’t just a speech. It was a moment. A message:Hope isn’t passive, it’s powerful.

So when Mona Lisa dropped, we saw more than a song. We saw an opportunity to remix it into a climate-coded anthem.

“I like my world pretty, so fine… One plus the nine…”

One Earth. 17 goals. Infinite reasons to dance for the future.

Alma's #MonaLisa Challenge

Now we’re using Mona Lisa as the heartbeat of our #MonaLisaChallenge turning fandom into action, joy into justice, and lyrics into love letters for the planet.

Alma Brings Climate Hope to Hobipalooza

At J-Hope’s Hobipalooza concert in Oakland, our founder Alma — dancer, climate creative and visionary behind ClimateHope.us and Dancing4ClimateJustice.com — showed up not just to cheer and enjoy the concert but to spark change.

With her signature mix of heart, energy and climate hope, Alma handed out limited-edition pins featuring:

  • 💚 J-Hope surrounded by the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) color wheel

  • A tribute to his iconic speech at the UN

  • A reminder that hope can be a form of action

Each pin was designed to catch eyes, start conversations, and plant seeds reminding fellow ARMYs that being a fan can also mean being a force for good.

Here’s a peek at the pin design that made it into the hands (and hearts) of concertgoers:
